The Inferno is the flagship seat box in the Rive D36 ST range and it boasts some notable modifications from other Rive D36 ST seat boxes. The first thing you’ll notice is the stunning red accents on the box. The majority of the box, including the platform, trays, and legs, is finished in anodised black, making the red flash of colour even more striking. The next major different in the seat box is the ‘elephant’ pole rest in the cushion on the seat box, rather than the traditional cup.

As with other top end Rive seat boxes, the Rive D36 ST Inferno has been designed using the open leg system. This is a combination stirrup and leg design which ensures that legs can be removed from the seat box whilst the chair is in situ. This gives you unparalleled on-bank access to all of your gear, ensuring that you can quickly and easily get to your vital tackle at the exact moment that you need it. As well as having six open system stirrups, the seat box also boasts two open telescopic legs. These complement a further two telescopic legs, as well as two additional set legs. All four of the telescopic legs on the chair can be extended between 420mm and 720mm. This ensures that you’re able to adjust your seat box with precision, perfectly modifying it to suit your height – as well as the terrain on the bank.

Another terrain feature of the seat box is the HSP footplate system. This is another of Rive’s premier designs which has been implemented on the D36 ST Inferno to great success. The HSP footplate is the most durable footplate system on the market today and it has been designed with modification in mind. Two quarter turn latches ensure that you can position the platform in four different positions. This also ensures that the footplate is protected at all times, ensuring that it can last every bit as long as the rest of the seat box. This means that one of the weakest points on traditional seat boxes is actually one of the strongest on the Inferno. It goes without saying that this entire system is manufactured from aluminium. This ensures that the Inferno is not only exceptionally durable and built to last a lifetime on the bank but also that this seat box is light in weight.

The Rive D36 ST Inferno comes pre-supplied with three different drawer and tray compartments. The largest of these is the 60 front drawer. This is the deepest of all the Rive drawer systems and if you’re looking for a place to easily store and access your larger terminal tackle items then this is the ideal solution. The second drawer system can be found on the side of the Inferno and it is built in Rive’s 30 size. This is the smaller of Rive’s size options and it is perfect for all your more delicate terminal tackle items. The final drawer is a removable tray.
