Stalking rods

Stalking rods are predominantly used for close range fishing on tight or confined swims. As such they tend to be shorter than your average rod, between 6 to 10ft, as you don’t need them to be able to cast particularly long distances. Because you’re talking fish at close range, these rods often have a powerful through action, so they can control big carp and avoid snags.
